Re: Chapin and other job openings
Word I am hearing on Chesnee is the head coach at Pisgah in NC is going to be the guy. They are going after another NC coach who has had some success but Clay Lewis won titles in NC and then flopped big time at Chesnee. It is proof that SC football is general is much better. Anyone should be very wary of hiring coaches out of NC.
And on the eighth day, God created the Woodruff Wolverines

Football coaches have nothing to do with helping Admins getting their next jobWolverine_Legend wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 3:05 pmWord I am hearing on Chesnee is the head coach at Pisgah in NC is going to be the guy. Therefore Admins put little thought/effort into who they hire as football coaches.
Re: Chapin and other job openings
As much as DF fans love hatin' on those pontoon boat driving, jet-ski riding yoyos at Chapin, that would be a sweet set up for the right coach. Resources, a large school with athletes...just have to get them on the field and get the buy-in from everyone...easier said than done, but the opportunity is there. Potential powerhouse.

Would be a great job for a guy trying to get his foot in the door. I know I always say this guy but Ethan Campbell would be a great fit for the job. He's an old Mid Carolina guy so he knows the area of lake Murray and has proven himself at Clinton with their defensive game. Gotten to know his brother well since we play Whitmire a good bit and both guys are awesome. Campbell to Chapin make it happen!Footballmaniac wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 11:23 amChapin head coaching job is open. Might get a lot of applicants

I keep waiting on Ethan to get a shot somewhere. I've known him a long time, great guy, great coach.WShornets69 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2024 8:34 amWould be a great job for a guy trying to get his foot in the door. It'll come for sure. Every time ware shoals is off I try to make a Clinton game since they are relatively close and usually have good games to watch. Coach Campbell defense is always strong seems like a damn good coach. Wish he'd come to ware shoals. I can get him hunting land in Hodges, Shoals Junction, or Donald's!
