BEAUFORT AT FORT DORCHESTER POLL 8/23/2024

This is both Beaufort and Fort Dorchester's opening game of the 2024 High School Football Season. Fort Dorchester leads the overall series 11 games won to 10 for Beaufort. I think this is one of the best Football Series between 2 teams in South Carolina. This game seems to always be close, exciting games. Most of the games come down to the last play of the game.

Fort Dorchester beat Beaufort last season 34-17 and have won the last 2 over Beaufort. Both teams will have some playmakers this season. I will get more into that later on in the week. The Patriots have a new head coach this season in Shaun Lorenzano. Beaufort has Bryce Lybrand back as their Head Coach. Coach Lybrand has done a wonderful job entering his 6th season at Beaufort. He is 41-17 overall with 1 State Title won and 2 State Title Appearances.

What does everyone think about this game? Doodles has Fort Dorchester favored by 30 points over Beaufort. Do y'all agree? Disagree? Let's hear your thoughts and predictions on this game. I will give mine later on in the week.

It's hard to tell with us because we are sooo young in spots but those young pups have super talent. We do have alot of speed on offense. Defense we moved some people in and out at the jamboree. All I know if agent 0 get in the open field the band gonna play the fighting. His speed is blazing and his vision is crazy. We got more than agent 0. We haven't unleashed yet on the outside. Our young sophomore qb gonna be a good one. He'll get more comfortable as the season goes on

This BIG GAME to open up the 2024 High School Football Season should be a great game to watch. In order for Beaufort to win this game over Fort D, The Eagles will have to cut out the turnovers on Offense, not have stupid penalties, and not give up big plays on special teams. Beaufort is led by 4-year QB Samari Bonds. Bonds will have to have a great game throwing and running the football. He is the leader of this Beaufort team. I look for WR Amare Patterson to have a huge game catching the football. Patterson is going to be a very special player for Beaufort I truly believe. Beaufort's Offensive Line led by Kenshon Speaks will have to play well this season and block well for The Eagles to go far. Beaufort's Defense will have to keep The Patriot's Offense from making big plays. Beaufort has a very good LB in Will Codding to help lead this Eagles Defense.

Fort Dorchester seems to always play tough and always has some playmakers on their team. The Patriots are led by a new QB this season in Kevin Johnson. It will be interesting to see what he does in this game. Fort Dorchester has a good RB in Ryan Campbell. If Beaufort's Defense can stop Campbell then I think the Eagles can win this game.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this game? I am super excited about it!!!! I can't wait!!!! It should be a good close game I think.

Yep. I was thinking 37-13 but stranger things have happened. I was actually surprised by the history numbers being only 11-10 FD.
