How was the attendance??

Post by Noble Savage »

Just curious? Around the state? I was kinda shocked at the South Pointe Home stands, lots of empty seats.

With so many week zero matchups I was just curious if wherever you might have went this past week was more or less than what you expected.

Newberry was packed Friday night. I know there’s a lot of buzz around the team this year after a few down years, by what we got use to, due to having very young teams. Should be a huge crowd in 2 weeks when Clinton comes to town.

I told people around here back in 2022 that this year and next year could be special. We have some great athletes out there, with Jamel Howse leading the way. He’s 170 in the junior 300 on 24/7, and the 3rd ranked player in the state for next year.

Excellent crowd at Clinton. Home side about 80 percent full and Woodruff packed the visiting stands.
And on the eighth day, God created the Woodruff Wolverines

I think we were over-capacity at W. Florence @ S. Florence. Standing room only on the home side.

The Summerville at Stratford game was very crowded. But it is a big rivalry game so attendance is usually high.

I was disappointed in the attendance at the Beaufort-Fort Dorchester game the other night. Beaufort usually travels well but that was the least amount of fans that I have seen at an away game. Beaufort's Cheerleaders were not at the game so that has a little something to do with it. I think that the Cheerleaders should attend every game to support the team. I hope to see a BIG Crowd at Beaufort's first home game of the season this Friday Night against Greenwood.
