Who Would You Like to See Your Team Play

I know football has started and we are more concerned with the games that are being played now but the thought has crossed my mind of teams I would like to see the Indians get back on their schedule and was wondering what teams yall would like to see

Mine are in no particular order

Kings Mountain
Shelby
Daniel
Hunter Huss
Stratford
Rock Hill
Northwestern
Chester

I've always thought Newberry vs Chester should be a game at least every now and then.

We had a weird period where we played some schools that I was thinking why are we playing. Berea and Ware Shoals were the main two.

I hate that we aren't playing Batesburg this year. Other than that, I think our schedule is good. We have all the traditional "rivalry" games, MC, Fairfield, Clinton. We play Union County since Coach Jeter is a Union County alum. Playing Chapin makes sense travel wise for both schools, plus the gate is usually good. Saluda also makes sense travel wise.

I'm not a fan of the region. Games at Silver Bluff and Swansea (no thanks travel wise), home against Fox Creek and Keenan (not huge gate games). I miss the days of regions meaning something a building rivalries in the region. Now they change every 2 years.

I would love to see Daniel play the following teams (in no particular order):

Gaffney
Byrnes
Dorman
Abbeville
Dillon
TL Hanna (should be a yearly matchup)
Spartanburg
Summerville
Dutch Fork
Myrtle Beach

I would love to see Gaffney vs Daniel just because both of these schools have a tradition of winning. I wish Daniel played Byrnes because growing up, Byrnes was always the team to beat. Abbeville and Dillon are also interesting because I love the old stadiums....I wish Daniel never tore down theirs. TL Hanna should be a yearly matchup because of proximity, plus it would be a great money maker. I have only watched Daniel play Spartanburg 2 times, and I believe Daniel topped them 21-20 in 2004. Summerville and Dutch Fork would be interesting as well mainly because I would like to see how Daniel stacks up against those teams. Finally, Myrtle Beach is a team that I always thought would be a cool matchup on the coast.

I wish some teams would broaden their schedules to play teams they dont traditionally play. It creates for some exciting matchups that could help pack the stands out.

Gaffney and Summerville should play every year …preferably at a neutral site in Horry Co. the Friday before Labor day..

I like that list. I would add Greenwood to that list . Never understood how those two schools haven’t played each other more. Daniel can play emerald but not the eagles.
Sure makes sense. Also I like playing the Berkeley stags because that’s an automatic W.

Daniel will might get to play one season if the football gods allow it..

Dang you have a truly iconic match up schedule that would be freaking awesome to watch the Desoto TX and Katy TX teams would be ESPN caliber match ups for sure. I like the way you think I would love to see the Silver Foxes take on Miami NW St Thomas Aquinas John Bosco too.

There is a connection with the Katy team...Ron Huff was a star RB at DF a few years, but his parents were divorced and one lived in SC and the other in Katy TX and he transferred his senior year to Katy and had a great season, but got hurt in the playoffs. During the regular season against the #1 in Texas, North Shore, they put the game on Ron's back and he ran all over North Shore....showed them some smash mouth SC football (in just 8 games before he got hurt, he carried the ball 175 times for 1123 yards and 14 TDs playing big time Texas football). DeSoto and DF each played St Frances Academy the same year...DF did better against SFA than DeSoto but wound up ranked lower than them in the final national poll...would be fun to see how it went.
