well that's my wrap in spending another night in my nightmare in green and yellow. People say why do u go to so many games stags and other games ? it is like what I do and have done for as long as I can remember, which is getting harder to accomplish. its through all the turmoil in our journey which we have had a lot last 3 years. it's my happy place and yes most my teeth have left me and smiles are much more harder to do, my insides are smiling for just a few hours every Friday night, my buddies have left mother earth too and the destination of the journey has dulled a bit but still focused to game 700 and when and if I get there, surely it will recalibrate to number 750.
coach lodge, why they would do hall of fame on a green demon game is beyond me, it should be like home coming not hell night but what does a old almost 75 old man know.
All I can say the green storm is big, fast, and got a transfer qb from hanahan hawks that is experienced and the real deal and a younger defense that just sacked a great team and easily too. so it will take everything Friday night to slow this green cat 5 team. Good luck for my deer, it's a sleepless night with green gremlins every where. I will try to go back to sleep after daylight starts to creep in the widows!!!

As always it was great talking to you last night Slick. Thankfully my Wave had a great showing against a very good South Florence team. I am so looking forward to my trip back to monkey corner next Friday as Summerville takes on your Deer. I am thinking Music Man BBQ before the game for us to get together to eat and talk about all the great Wave-Stag games from the past. You have to come my friend.

How did south Florence compare to Stratford? I know you only saw them for a half but was curious.GoBigGreen wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 7:02 amAs always it was great talking to you last night Slick. Hey Ddub14! SFs defense was tough. The LBs and secondary were very quick and great tacklers. #10 seemed to be in on every tackle. Summerville was able to defend against their huge DE #91. Offensively Stratford relied heavily on one RB(think #10). SF did mix it up a little more hitting some deep passes for some big gains. I think if SF were to play Stratford, SF would pick up the win. As Wave80 stated in another thread, this game could have been closer if not for some costly mistakes(fumble and interception) by SF.

Lol Slick!!! Joey was telling me how excited he was to be sitting on the Summerville side for the first time ever. Something tells me he will not be sitting with us next Friday.
Re: another night in the land of the jolly green giants
Thanks for the info. I agree on your assessment. I think SF is better on defense and Stratford on offense. Just thinking about possibly down the line. Sounds like y’all have reloaded.GoBigGreen wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 12:58 pmHey Ddub14! SFs defense was tough.
