gaffney high qb suspension reduced to first half of next game

I watched the tail end of it. It sounded like the commissioner was talking more about the lineman that went in to get his QB. I am wondering why they did not do this earlier in the day and in person. Any time I have dealt with the league I wanted them to have to tell me know to my face as opposed to doing it from a computer miles away. I have also been told that the executive committee at one time was instructed to never overturn the league. They have done it a few times but not much. The appellate panel does a better job of actually listening to the facts when making decisions. Good luck.

QB unfortunately put himself in a bad situation as the coach looked to be separating the Gaffney (4) and BS (3) player from each other.

Since Spartanburg/gaffney canceled does that extend the suspension?

The next appeal is Wednesday and could reduce it down to 1 game. If the SCHL do not make teams reschedule game missed due to weather this could work in Gaffney favor. Next 2 games are Eastside and Byrnes. I would give them Eastside easy, but Byrnes game could be a lot closer without having Gilmore @ QB!
