Again you forget to mention that MVP middle beat the brakes off you guys middle school program ! While coach TK witnessed it! The next week beat Gray ! So looks like MVP is building

lol…. Middle school. Now you sound legend. Gray middle school beat DF too a while back. Your point? 7th graders win on athletic ability not a system. Now if you are insinuating the coaches at MVP are better than TK then you are obviously medicated. DF JV team would probably beat MVP varsity . Let MVP play DF if beating woodruff by 2 points makes world beaters- See how that goes. The new and shiny will wear off MVP soon enough and it will be what it is… a middling charter school. Woodruff is a decent 3A team but not a threat to win the title so let’s not give MVP the 3A title just yet.
At the end of the day it’s just game played by kids- means squat in the wide world, but some of us enjoy the entertainment.
I understand everyone hates DF but down deep they also…

If you think any JV defense can tackle the Jalen Mcgill and JV dbs that can cover KD Hainsworth then you my friend is the one that's medicated!

Obviously you don’t understand JV at DF lol. Underclassmen that don’t start for a top 25 program in the nation… in the nation. And the answer is yes… they could. I hope you have not drunk all the MVP kool aid and understand the difference between being a decent 3A team in SC and a consistent top 25 team out of 14000+ teams in the nation. McGill racks up numbers against scrubs.
Never heard of the other guy. Of course now if the shiny new penny played the DF varsity, MVP would be lucky to score. The D line would be in the backfield with the snap. But of course you know what’s up…maybe you need medication lol.

I went to their website over the weekend and seen that they are about to build an indoor stadium. Clearing land for housing projects throughout their zoning area! To be honest, I don't think they really expected to be successful the first few years! I am just telling everyone now that in 3years time this school will be a national brand!

Just another reason why the simple thinkers at the @SCHSL ought to put these type of schools in their own classification. It’s a joke. And it isn’t just football. They will sweep other sports as well. The public schools at the 3A level don’t stand a chance. You just can’t have regular public schools lining up against all star teams.

I went to their website over the weekend and seen that they are about to build an indoor stadium. Clearing land for housing projects throughout their zoning area! To be honest, I don't think they really expected to be successful the first few years! I am just telling everyone now that in 3years time this school will be a national brand!

Again, a SC charter school- nothing wrong with that but you are not catching the hints. MVP is enjoying and is a victim of location all in the same breath to be honest. Gray and Oceanside have had the same advantages and disadvantages. I suspect MVP will wind up being the Spartanburg area budget all-star team, as Oceanside is for Charleston and Gray is for the Midlands is my guess. Gray has to deal with the appeal of Irmo and Dutch Fork... Oceanside with Summerville and Fort Dorchester, and MVP with Dorman, Spartanburg, Byrnes and Gaffney. Location is a blessing and a curse when dealing with talent and HS football programs. For example, Dutch Fork has lost one blue chip player to IMG and a year or two later got one from them; equaled out- none of the starters have left DF for Gray. The MVP RB was at Broome and wanted better exposure of the shiny new penny that is MVP; the kid from Dorman knew the rock would be spread around more there, and simply wanted more touches; and the QB knew Greenville was imploding and got out while the getting was good. SC doesn't have the resources, population and deep talent pool to draw from to build a national power in a private or charter school setting as teams like IMG in Florida, Gorman in Las Vegas, or Mater Dei or Bosco in California. Being good locally is tough enough but regionally or nationally take the perfect storm.

Hard to make any kind of a long-term accurate prediction off of half a season- not how planning and projections work. MVP will be good, as long as they stay out of trouble, which has been a problem for Gray and Oceanside. Housing projects are popping up all over in the Columbia area and the Charleston area as well. Once the MVP charter expires- what then? MVP has benefitted from a few good offensive players and a weak schedule. Legend was saying the same thing about Woodruff's C team and B team a few years ago...which matured into basically same outcome. Can't depend on teenagers... simple fact having raised several myself...lol. You may be right, but it would take an unlikely huge infusion of talent, money and for Gaffney, Byrnes, Spartanburg and Dorman to do away with their HS football programs.
