The ghosts of Clinton N.C. may have finally revealed themselves at an opportune time for Loris.
This is only the beginning. The hammer is about to fall on MC.
I’ve heard from a buddy that is still a coach in the state that it’s more than lights going on down there. I won’t get into it, but it’s not looking good for them if it’s true
I'll say it. They have recruited heavily and the high school league is about to drop the hammer on them. At least let's hope. Jerome and Charlie need to do a state tour of hammering schools that heavily recruit. But alas I don't see that happening since the main revenue for the HSL would be caught up in that.

Yeah, it would be like shooting yourself in the foot to get rid of a spider on your big toe!

Based on the result of the game against Dillon, they didn't recruit the right dudes. I was there. They looked like they didn't want to be on the field. Maybe Dillon is that good! I have watched a lot of football in a lot of places. There wasn't a DI recruit on the field for Marlboro that Friday night. If you're gonna recruit, may as well bring in some guys that can get the job done.

nope ALL the recruits played. #2, #0, #6, They ALL played. No one was sat. Just trying to abolish that rumor. We put the running back #4 out of the game the first drive. He was taking some licks. They just got destroyed. The game really wasn't even as close as the score. Dillon gave them 6 with the field goal block 6 before half and the other touchdown the Dillon kid dropped the interception. It EASILY should of been 35-0

No problem. That’s just what I heard. I wasn’t there.

I really don’t know what the SCHSL can do about the recruiting at this point. Nobody either legally can, or cares, to stop it at the district levels. Goes on in Spartanburg. Gaffney is on their 3rd straight QB from somewhere else. Over just the last couple of years. JL Mann has built a competitive team on the state level by overtly recruiting. Porter did the same at Greenville. Nobody says a thing. It is the new way of building a football program. And that doesn’t even touch the MVP and Gray’s of the world. Not sure you can stop it at this point

Saw where they have a meeting tomorrow I believe to address something involving MC. Might get interesting.

I heard from someone that MC filed an injunction over the forfeit seeking to play Nov 8.

The South Carolina High School League will do an executive committee meeting October 30th @ 9:30 AM to discuss Gray Collegiate Academy Sanction Relief to Probation Status and Gray Collegiate Student Eligibility and then after that meeting there is another one scheduled for 10:30 AM for Marlboro County High School Student Eligibility
