This game is the 1st round of the Class 4A State Football Playoffs. I am really looking forward to this game! I know on paper it looks like a big mismatch. But Beaufort is really better than their 2-8 record shows. The Eagles have been in every game but 1 this season. TURNOVERS are the BIG KEY on why Beaufort has lost these games. I think that if Beaufort doesn't turn the ball over, then this game could be interesting.
This is only the 3rd meeting ever between Beaufort and Hartsville. Hartsville leads the series over Beaufort 2-0. Both of those meetings were in Beaufort during the Playoffs. Hartsville beat Beaufort 34-17 in the 2nd round of the playoffs back in 2019. Beaufort has never played at Kellytown Stadium in Hartsville. I am really looking forward to My Trip there. I did see Bluffton play at Hartsville in 2010.
