Projections for Week of 10/13

Based on the EHSMEANGREEN bracket.
Why would West Ashley not be in the big 16 bracket ?

I have two different Projections now.
One is based off of last years ADM and another is based off the RAW data located here.

Who gets added to West Ashley's total? School of Arts?

OUCH! Just for that i'm sitting next to you on Halloween Night!

We lost to Laurens in OT (blocked XP) and lost to Westside by a missed 2-pt conversion....
Had we won either of those games, we would have had a better chance at 4th place in the Region.

Let's see, I will play along!
I've been drinking that Green flavored KOOL-AID my whole life.

All we have to do is go 3-1 with the right help and we are in the playoffs...
4-0 down the stretch and we could be in a 4-way tie for the Region Title.
We would lose pts. tie-breaker to Westside and finish 2nd in the Region by virtue of head to head wins over Greenwood and Hillcrest.

Just a question as I am new to this Board... Do you think Spartanburg will end up in Div. II?

Spartanburg is out of the big 16 in enrollment so they will be division 2 unless enough teams above them don't qualify. Right now it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

#2 - As Tigerific says, they are not and have not been Big 16 for a few years now, maybe four? I'm old, I forget stuff...

#3 - Our PROJECTIONS are showing them in Division II based on the best information we can get at this time. There are two sets of numbers floating around and no one can really say with certainty what the "REAL" numbers the SCHSL will be using. If we could get the SCHSL to post the "official" numbers, we can give you a much more of a "definate maybe!"

To give you guys a better idea of what we are referring to...

These are the two sets of numbers that I have as the "OFFICIAL" numbers. Obviously, they can't both be the official numbers since there are so many differences. The most important things to remember are:

If they are BIG 16 you get bonus half point if they have a winning record and many of them will have winning records. {By the way, there is a third set of numbers floating around that has a different BIG 16 than this, but they are obviously RAW numbers that don't count 9th graders that are not at the high school and some other "adjustments" that the HSL makes before they become official numbers. If that list is real, then West Ashley is not a Big 16, Rock Hill is Big 16... so it can get even more screwy!}

If a BIG 16 team doesn't qualify for the playoffs the next teams on the list move up, the teams in the red below are the prime candidates to move up to the Division One Bracket.... but which list is correct? Based on history and the season so far, we are looking at these teams STRONG POSSIBILITY OF NOT MAKING IT from the BIG 16 and Rock Hill is iffy at best, so #20 is very possible to be in Division One with #22 not being too much of a stretch.... So is #20 Northwestern or Spartanburg?

For clarification, I'm using the list that shows #20 to be Northwestern, therefore, they are in the Division One bracket this week's projection.
