Projections as of 10/27

Post by Rebel-Fan-74 »

Region One is Westside's if they beat Greenwood and winless TL Hanna.
Region Two will pretty much be decided in Roebuck Friday night
Region Three is pretty much decided, but #2, #3 and #4 could all be decided Friday
Region Four will be decided Friday night.

Here is what I am projecting for now:

Region Five went from boring to absolutely crazy in two weeks... now White Knoll and River Bluff play for the Region Title?
Region Six is all but a formality for the championship, and runner up, the final spot is ... ???
Region Seven appear to be heading to the Goose Creek and Stratford match up in Week 11
Region Eight is either over this week with a Summerville win, or it sets up the showdown in Week 11, Fort D and AR

So, I'm going with..

So using those projections:

Soooo....in order to get that rematch with Fort D, Summerville might have to make a trip to Duncan . How does your projection change if Byrnes knocks off Dorman?

Is there anyway that Mauldin, Boiling Springs, and/or Gaffney don't make the playoffs?

I was thinking that exact same thought earlier today when I was looking at the playoff brackets and the teams who are right on the line of going up.

If that were to happen (and anything is possible this yr.) it would be verrrrrry interesting to say the least... Spartanburg, GC and Stratford could theoretically (if I'm looking at the correct numbers for this yr.) move up to D1 and those playoff games would be insane!

Gaffney qualified for the playoffs by winning Friday night. Now the question is would you consider Gaffney a bracket buster if they were to win out and take the region crown

Rebels would be #3 likely
Dorman would be in the #10 slot and visit Fort Mill.

IF you beat Ashley Ridge, Region 8 is pretty much settled, if Ashley Ridge wins, it gets really different.

Some other teams would have to make it happen. I have Boiling Springs beating J L Mann and Mauldin and Mauldin losing to Spartanburg. So their points are already done pretty much and they are not on the cut line, so unless those on the cut line make huge upsets, like Rock Hill beating Northwestern, Easley beating Hillcrest, JL Mann beating Spartanburg and Boiling Springs, so unless it is something HUGE, Boiling Springs and Mauldin should make it as At Large.
