Should be exciting. Can someone please answer me this: Why does Abbeville always get homefield? is Nichols moving the team each year to whatever region the bracket favors????
Same reason Alabama is always in the playoff talks no matter how bad they look in games. Losing to Vandy should be an automatic disqualifier
I can't remember the last time Abbeville
had an away play-off game . I do remember
when they were 3a in 1971 they played
Irmo in the play-offs at BHP field . i think it
was because A-Town did not have enough
seating for 3a play-off game back then.
The game ended in 21-21 tie. Abbeville
won the game on penetration .I was there.

I am an Alabama fan since 1963 .I don't
think they should be in the play-offs .
Just my opinion . ROLL TIDE !
From what I see, the last 3 times they've had away playoff games is when they've played Gray. 2023, 2021, 2019
Correct.
I was at the 2019 game at Newberry College. Sat on the Gray side since they had maybe 20 fans.

I missed that game, was the first game I had missed in 19 years. Had not missed a single game since 2000 until that one, broke my streak. Was just too sick to go with one of those bugs. Missing the game made it worse. Lol!

Boy this game was really chippy. Surprised at the amount of personal fouls, unsportsmanlike penalties. Heard there was a lot of chatter on social media during the weeks, may have contributed. These teams hardly ever play each other, looked like a lot of smack going on. Didn't even shake hands at the end. Lewisville coach got a flag too. Some interesting calls on the field, just a lot of penalties. Abb won 42-18.

Yeah please go back and watch the 1st qt...Lewisville' Coach was on the field fired up from the kickoff. Like standing damn near on the numbers from the kickoff. Plenty of Smack talk coming in but they believe in the /A\ now...we was fearless and smacked them up as we should. The Fellas heard all the Hater talk from within all week. Now same people hating will be the 1st in line at Orangeburg for a ticket come Thurs. Let's Go Panthers

The refs stopped them from shaking hands to avoid any possibility of escalation
