Mason was a perfect fit for the Oklahoma State offensive scheme, based on his football at Northwestern.

One thing about him is totally true....he is a better person than he is as a football player!

Very proud of this young man and I have to ask I have watched him play a few times this year and I thought he looked great so why are they or why did they go with the 2 qb set for? In the game against Texas it just looked like switching out qbs had Mason out of sync! If I understand it correctly the back up qbs dad is a former alumni or gundys buddy I forget how the worded it so I'm just wondering if that may play a factor into it.I heard a guy on ESPN say that he thought if mason had been the true starter from day one this season he would be in the heisman talk! Either way he is fun to watch and I find myself looking for OSU games on the tube!

The other qb is a runner. It seems to be "normal" to bring him in when the oc wants the run option (meaning run first pass if you have to) in place....generally in short yardage situations or inside the 5 yard line. Mason is not the runner that the other qb is, but the reverse is also true in that the other qb is not the passer that Mason is. As long as they are winning, I guess you cannot argue much with the methods.
