The big dance this year is hard to pick.
If I were to pick, not as a fan, it would be Dorman vs DF, with Dorman edging DF.

I wouldn’t mind going back to cross bracketing. Here are some of my thoughts after being in the upstate bracket for two years now.

1. It should be illegal to have to go through Gaffney, Byrnes, and Dorman...just to get to the state championship game.

Ok, that made me laugh out loud.

Since the rise of DF and FD, I'm not so sure. DF has had the Reb's number since Knotts got there. And FD beat us in a championship game. Hasn't it been 8 years since Byrnes made it to Columbia?

Byrnes last played in Columbia in 2010 and won. Cant remember who we beat, maybe you could help, HA. Byrnes won it all in 2011 but that was at Clemson. Byrnes is 1-2 versus DF since 2010 when TK arrives. Won 2010, lost in 2013, 2014.

Its crazy to sit here and look at all the playoff bracket and the next 2 weeks are goin to be rematches from the regular season in the upstate and I don't understand how or why that is

agree. not perfect but better and a better chance that the title game featured the 2 best teams

Yea Gaffney lost our starting linebacker to an ACL tear in the Mallard Creek game about mid way through the 1st half and then lost our starting cornerback/wideout the next week to a broken collarbone

I remember the points system made this the place to be at midnight of the final reg season game. It was always popular on PFT but when this place launched and the math wizards moved all that candy over here, it really buttered the bread.

Yes, so beating an 0-11 Stall team is worth the same as beating an 11-0 Gaffney.

This is why the points system was done away with. Everybody and their brother was searching for a duck.

Good point Penguin but why can't you do it and make it to where the points only count if the team has a winning record at the end of the year or do something to make all the games mean something instead of teams playing ducks all during the non region portion of their schedule for example lets say Gaffney books Blacksburg, Landrum, Broome and some other schools that are beneath, Why not make it to where teams have to schedule good competition for example Gaffney schedule Mallard Creek, Summerville Fort Dorchester and Dutch Fork for non region games if you get where I am goin with it
