That's an ugly map. It seems there are several neighborhoods that are zoned for one school, but an adjacent school is an option.

Blythewood needs the same penalty for ratting .sounds like sour grapes.
What are exact rules with pvt semi pvt schools .
They play in schl championship all should be pl a Ying by exact same rules . Either ease up on public schools .
Or tighten up on private schools .
Lotta kids list thier sr season that did absolutely nothing to deserve this .

Want to see a really bad one, look at Spartanburg County and see what Dorman's area (District 6) looks like... those edges dart in and out in real life and when they dart out, it's for a reason. $$$$$SF Band dad wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 11:46 pmhttps://www.richland2.org/RichlandDistr ... -Areas.pdf

Re: Ridge View appeal
If they are going to allow private and charter schools to play, then all bets should be off for public schools. How can the HSL tell 1 group that they can basically do whatever they want to get the team they want, but other schools competing against them can't do anything? I guess it comes back to the only thing the SCHSL cares about, MONEY.
Re: Ridge View appeal
Now how many HS are zoned for each district ?..be interesting to see state wide to me at least.. a start for what I’m looking for..Rebel-Fan-74 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 9:06 amWant to see a really bad one, look at Spartanburg County and see what Dorman's area (District 6) looks like... those edges dart in and out in real life and when they dart out, it's for a reason. $$$$$SF Band dad wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 11:46 pmhttps://www.richland2.org/RichlandDistr ... -Areas.pdf

Re: Ridge View appeal
But that’s not the case in all counties..Cherokee has 2 HS in one district..Students ie athletes can transfer no questions..I’m sure there are others around the state with the same agreement.Rebel-Fan-74 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 2:58 pmOne in each district

Unlike some folks, I only comment on things that I know... thus, Spartanburg County.
Greenville, like Cherokee, has only one district so all the high schools are in that district.....
