Imagine if they had gone with Tim McMahon, who was a finalist to replace Dula...and then took the Emerald job out of spite. What an absolute disaster that would've been.

Gene went to 3 championships in a row, winning the last one going 15-0 the only time in Greenwood history. I don't feel slighted in the least.

Without a doubt, he is one of the best high school football coaches in the country.
