Opening Weekend

I haven't made it to the new Gaffney stadium, or the Spartanburg stadium. I know that Spartanburg was playing at Wofford. My poor health and Rhonda's work schedule have kept us closer to home. I do want to go to Gaffney for a game.

I am scared to go to Spartanburg, they don't allow guns, and you sure do need one over there. LOL I don't say that off hand. My stepfather was in the ICU in the hospital there for a couple of weeks. We went up to be with my mom before she had him taken off life support. She was staying at a hotel close to the hospital. We stayed out by the interstate. She got mugged at gunpoint coming out the hotel one morning on her way to the hospital. That is a rough part of town. When I was at Wofford in the late 70s, it wasn't that bad.

I saw some pictures of their new stadium. It does look nice. Living in a County where you have a large tax base from industry and business, you guys have a lot more dollars to spend on thengs like that than we do in Beaufort. No industry, and an economy based upon tourism and the military. We would be in really bad shape if not for the wealth from Hilton Head.
