Projections as of 10/20

Well, after much debate and confusion {which is still running rampant...}

Here they are and ONLY because EHSMeanGreen said that I have to, I picked Byrnes to win the showdown with Dorman... I was going to go with Dorman, but since he said that I have to.... well, I did.

I'm using this green shaded list since it has been "vetted" by two different schools, and note that the BIG 16 does NOT match the AAAA Handbook....






Based on those Projected Region Standings, we would have a bracket like this:




I'll come back later with some details, but right now, my head hurts from all this thinking...

In region 7
Cane bay controls their destiny.
look for Cane bay to win out and take the 3 spot and don't be surprised to see James Island over Wando for the 4 spot.

Each week Region 7 changes...I would tend to agree that Cane Bay could win out. But Wando and West Ashley you just don't know which team will show up. That region should be interesting for the 3rd spot. Right now James Island holds the cards for that spot all they have to do is win against Cane Bay and Wando then they finish third which throws a whole new look into Division II

How bad does it tear up the brackets if (1) Clover defeats Gaffney and Gaffney defeats Fort Mill, (2) both Clover and Fort MIll defeat Gaffney, (3) Gaffney defeats Clover and loses to Fort Mill?

It seems to me that Gaffney's fate determines who bumps up from D2 to D1. Am I anywhere near the mark on that?

Not really..

Gaffney, Clover and Fort Mill are interchangeable at this point in time...
#12 Clover
#13 Gaffney
#20 Fort Mill
And don't forget just yet..
#14 Rock Hill

Two of those three are pretty much in because the #3 and #4 bids. Nation Ford would be the team to screw this up...

Should three of the four get in, and it changes things, especially if the three doesn't include Fort Mill, then Northwestern could be back in Division Two.
