What happens if Dorman and Byrnes loses at least 1 or 2 of their final games which I don't see happening how would that play out

If Dorman loses to Riverside then I will run for president as. Republican and oppose Donald J. Trump in the 2020 primaries. I actually think there’s a better chance of Earth being taken over by aliens from Pluto than there is of Dorman losing that game.

What happens if Dorman and Byrnes loses at least 1 or 2 of their final games which I don't see happening how would that play out

If Byrnes loses two Gaffney would move up to 2nd place if they win out.
If Dorman loses two they would still be ahead of Gaffney based on head-to-head win, but they could fall to 2nd place if Byrnes wins out.

I believe the upper state at large spot will be the Region 2 #6 team (probably Hillcrest) or the Region 4 # 4 team, which there will probably be a three way tie for 3rd place.

As far as I know there are no published criteria on how the at-large berths are awarded. For my bracket I simply chose the team with the highest MaxPreps ranking.

Last Year I was told via email from an upstate AD that the 1st team out in each Region are the only teams eligible for the At-large berths.
Hence....
Region 1 - 6th place
Region 2 - 6th place
Region 3 - 4th place
Region 4 - 4th place
etc......

I really hope I’m wrong but I just bet Spartanburg gets that at-large berth in the upper state Based in some stupid crap like “strength of schedule”. No team could be less deserving aside from perhaps Riverside. But they’ll get obliterated by Hanna or Laurens...it’s basically a first round bye for who ever plays them if they put them in.

I'm not really ready to say which region is stronger or weaker. However, it does seem that many regions are top heavy. What I mean by that is the #1 dominates everyone else and there are others fighting for the crumbs. I feel like our region at least two teams could make three rounds but our #3 and #4 will most definitely lose badly in round one.
