So I cannot find out any info on Spartanburg Appeal

I never like these things...

A Spartanburg player was thrown out after a game had ended ( zeros on clock and teams shaking hands over) against Boiling Springs.
From what I've heard and it's only second hand, it was for a comment about a call at the end of the game. The player allegedly approached the ref just to ask what he did wrong on the play, he didn't touch the official, he didn't curse, he ..from what I was told he just asked for clarification. Then the ref threw him "out" which resulted in a ill advised comment.

He hasn't been able to play for two weeks.

True or not..

Does any referee on here or anyone know of a similar situation. How serious would the comment had to have been to warrant a multiple game suspension? I guess I'm asking How much "power" does a ref have?

I've seen coaches throw tantrums, I've seen brawls on the field. I've never seen someone get thrown out of multiple games after a game.

Watched players say fu ref after a game it's on video.nothing was done not sure why they would do that after a game.

I heard the same thing. I've never heard of a player getting suspended for an upcoming game after the initial game was over. Most Ref's run off the field as soon as the game is over. This player is Spartanburg's starting safety. They defense have managed to do well during his absence.

If the kid was wrong, he's wrong. I get it.
But two full games?? I just hope the situation is resolved this week.. Mann throws a ton of passes.

I went back and watched the last 30 seconds of the game between Spartanburg and Boiling Springs. From what i could see after the play was over and the game had ended #0 D Bookhart walked up to the ref and said something. The ref then wrote something on a piece of paper (probably players number) and went to talk with 2 Spartanburg coaches. The other refs waited for him and then they all walked off the field together. Don't know what the player said but it couldn't have been much from what the video showed.

Who knows?? He doesn't seem animated when he talks to him? I heard it was clarification on a earlier call. I don't know. Could it be cause he stopped the play.. he didn't take a knee?? There were nothing but Spartanburg players running at someone who took a snap, it doesn't look like he spikes it?? Hell idk. Water under the bridge I guess.

I just hope we get him back.
