Hold on there, Pennywise... have to see what happens today. Not that it will help much, I can only recall DF winning two of these 7 on 7 tournaments in the past decade or so one in Charlotte and one at USC...but you never know.

Jaxon Knotts will be taking the snaps at QB for this 7 on 7 tournament- Offing is still playing summer league baseball it seems. Jaxon was a gunslinger on that JV team as a sophomore. I expect Offing to be the starter, but it is nice having a kid like Jaxon ready to play. He will get his share of snaps this season in the second halves of games. Going to be a fun season.

Ugh....hate it when Pennywise is right. Providence Day won the 7 on 7 but a great showing by the Silver Foxes...Jaxon Knotts QB and Stone Furrey WR in particular. Made the final 4 with over 20 teams at this tourney. Ethan Offing is playing summer league baseball with the Dirtbags (great name for a baseball team) and will be back soon. When the baseball rust wears off....he's a pretty good QB.

Are we sure that Offing is going to play football? From what I am told he has a potentially very promising future in baseball. Does he risk that? He is a good football player but the future after DF is limited

Never know what a kid is going to do these days, but all indications are he will. Ty Olenchuk and Will Taylor were both early Clemson baseball commits and went on to play their senior seasons at DF (both won state championships their senior year) and both had great careers at Clemson and beyond- seems like a DF tradition.
Jaxon Knotts is an outstanding QB, but so is Ethan Offing as everyone has seen the last couple of years.
