I thought last night was good football weather! You put in the hard work and practice when it’s hot so you can still be playing when it’s cold!

Check out the post about the ducks game against Goof Knee. Apparently they tried to move the game to the middle of the day so that they wouldn't have to get wet. Doesn't this sound eerily familiar to another clown masquerading as a government official?

Byrnes easily lost half the gate last night and looking at the crowd at Dorman Hanna on TV, I would estimate there was at least 50% if not more lost of the gate.

It was miserable out there last night and I thought about leaving 2 or 3 times. On our reserved row at Byrnes, we were the only ones there and no one was on the 2 rows below or above us.

I just can't afford to get sick these days with work responsibilities. I love football but over the next 3 weeks, I have about 6 or 7 meeting in 4 different states that I can not miss. I stayed out there at Byrnes to the final snap but I hope I don't regret it. I am sure others did not want to brave the elements due to the same worries. Outside of Byrnes and Gaffney, I would have probably skipped this one also.

Gaffney brought a good crowd but nowhere close to what it would have been on a clear night.
After halftime, both bands and at least a 3rd of the crowd left.

Byrnes was probably half full and as the game progressed and the weather worsened, the crowd headed to the parking lot. No more than 20% was there for the final play.

Was at Chapman for the Union/Chapman matchup. Fairly miserable conditions. 36 and rain, with some sleet, when it first started. Still raining when we got back to the car and the screen in the car said 32. Weather did affect the crowd. But that's fine. I am beyond tired of everyone rescheduling games Everytime they see a cloud in the sky, or even a threat of rain early in the week. It's football. It's November. Outside of hypothermia weather has nothing to do with getting the cold or flu. Glad it was playoff time where everyone teed it up as scheduled.
