Havelock NC Rams vs Dillon SC Wildcats....

Okay Dillon posters and anyone else....this game has the makings for a classic to start of the 2019 season. Havelock has been a powerhouse squad as of 2011 with 3 titles in a row in 3A in NC. 2011-2013 and lost 2 more title games in 2015 and 2017 to Charlotte Catholic.

They have a new head coach as the old one is now at Easley SC making The Upstate Greenwave nasty!! Watch out region 1!!!! Havelock averaged 56 points per game last year and lost to a region foe in 2nd round I believe...and gave up 21 per game.

So it should be a very entertaining game...Hows Dillon look this year Dillon posters?
And where can NEWCAT find some good BBQ before the game?

I have read that the offense appears to be really good this year. They scored 17 points against N.C. Scotland County in a scrimmage and 21 against Darlington Friday. They have an excellent senior quarterback and some good receivers. I think the defense must improve as the season goes on. Typically Dillon plays up or down to the competition.

If fort Dorchester wasn't playing a big game vs Glynn Academy out of Georgia, I would have gone to this game and then head to visit family in Fayetteville afterwards. The atmosphere in Dillon is electric, and the band is always hype

This does have the makings of being a great game. Good luck to Dillon and every other team playing out of state games this year. SC high school football is better than anywhere else per capita. Eat Dillon

JC.... What’s up man? Wish you could make it too! Havelock is my alma mater and this game is gonna be WILD man!! Havelock is a military town that brings in some good talent every now and then but Havelock has a good crop of genetics from the locals.

The Pop Warner league when I was young was off the chain ( no pun intended) as when I was 12 we played in Gastonia NC in the old Spindle City Classic. I was on Oline looking across at dudes with facial hair!!!

Anyway, this game should be a instant classic!!! Hey Dillon peeps...where is the BBQ?

Dillon by 21!! Havelock has a good program but SC 3A is on a whole different level from NC 3A IMO! Dillon will be rocking inside the white walls!
