Kinda irked with how this one played out. Very poor weather throughout, most of the game was played in a steady downpour. Abbeville was up 10-0 midway through 2nd quarter when lightning strikes started, lightning delay. Apparently both coaches agreed if there was another delay they would declare it a final contest, Lincoln County did not want to come back another day and finish. Play resumes over an hour later, Lincoln County scores to make it 10-7. Abbeville gets the ball backs and drives all the way down to the 3 and is about to punch it in, but lightning strikes again. Game over, final score Abbeville 10 Lincoln County 7. Not sure if this game ended up really helping either team.
