DILLON, S.C. — Dillon linebacker Damu Ford didn’t know much about Mallard Creek High School a few months ago.

Once it was announced that Dillon would host the Mavericks to begin the season, though, Ford and the rest of his Wildcat teammates began looking for formation on their Week 0 opponent.

And after an offseason of talk and preparation, Dillon is ready to host the 4A powerhouse from North Carolina in one of the most-anticipated matchups in the Pee Dee.
