Should be a good game this evening, CF vs DF... all whoofin' aside, this DF team has surprised folks, including me.

After last year's graduation, was looking to a down year, and throw in the pandemic...not sure what to expect.

DF lost Olenchuk, Hyatt and Hall ...playmakers on offense. Throw in losses on the OL and DL, and on defense Epting, Demasi, McClurkin, Johnson, McDaniel... expected a drop. When the pandemic revised schedule came out and the road game against South Pointe, figured they might have to take their lumps there. Everyone has down years- of course DF would be competitive, Coach Knott' worst season at DF they went 9-4.

Had Spencer back on offense and Danley on defense, but a host of new, young players....a new QB (from SCISA no less...eye roll...ha) unfamiliar with the system...just wasn't sure what to expect. Taylor has played extremely well. Spencer picked up where he left off...the emergence of Williams and Green on offense and all the young players on defense- Surprised a lot of people, but probably not Coach K.

Carolina Forest has played lights out this season. Should be a good game.

only one name matters down there and it's Knotts. As long as TK is there DF will not only achieve they will over achieve because that's what he does. He's the best coach hands down and anyone that says coaching doesn't matter that much, he's proof that it is often THE factor

The game was a dandy! Hats off to CF hell of a team they have. Very good game by the offense tonight defense needs to step it up a little more because Sumter is very good and beat those guys as well. Looking forward to some Turkey football next week.

Yup...knew it was on when they hired Knotts as coach. That much talent available each year... he would get it on the field. Carolina Forest played DF tough both times they've met. I like their coach. Good things happening on the Grand Strand. CF, NMB, MB....playin' some ball!
