BEAUFORT 16 JAMES ISLAND 0 FINAL 10/8/21

Post by BEAUFORTEAGLESFAN »

Beaufort beat James Island 16-0 last night to Improve to 6-1 Overall and 2-0 in Region 7 4A. It was a great job by the Eagles Defense. You know what they say about Defense wins Championships. ;). Good luck to James Island on the rest of their season.

Beaufort's Offense only scored 1 TD on the Night, but Beaufort Kicker Joeseph Caprarola had a great game with 3 field goals on the Night. The Eagles Punter also had another great game. It is awesome to have weapons in the Kicking Game. Even though Beaufort was only able to score 1 TD, The Eagles still moved the ball all night. Beaufort's star RB Amariee Morris did not play in this game because he suffered an Ankle Injury last week. I am hoping and praying that Morris will be back soon. The Eagles star WR Kacy Fields started the game at RB. Fields had a great game with running and catching the football. Beaufort backup RB Caleb Ulmer came in later and had a great game with over 100 yards rushing. Beaufort QB Tyler Haley also had a nice game with almost 200 yards passing. I would love to see Beaufort throw the ball more to their RB'S coming out of the backfield.

What can I say about the Beaufort Defense? The Eagle's "D" did a wonderful job in the game last night pitching the Shutout over James Island. The Trojans did not have that many yards in the game. Beaufort's defense will have to have another great game next week against May River. The Sharks are mainly a running team with their QB as their leading rusher. Beaufort's Defense will have to do a better job on keeping The QB in check and not let him run the football for big yardage.

I am so happy about this win by Beaufort. The Eagles really have a complete team this year with the Offense, Defense, and Special Teams all doing well. The only real weakness for Beaufort is the Kickoff Team giving up some yardage and big runs to the Opposing teams. Beaufort has been getting better on that though. Congrat's again to the Beaufort "D" on the shutout!!!!

Next up is a BIG REGION 7 4A GAME at Home next week against May River. I can't wait!!!!

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!
