Spartanburg is a good football team but I have said this already! This is not the DF team of the past 6 years! Again ,yes they are still a state contender but verrrrrrrrry beatable this year!

Agreed. Spartanburg has improved. DF has slipped.

Hodge exposed the Foxes weakness I think. Control the clock. Win time of possession early IMHO.

DF looks impatient on both sides of the ball. Long play clocks and hard snap counts.

DF offense is hard to contain completely but they like to take risks. They can score quickly. Can they put together a back breaking drive? Can they chew up 8 minutes on a drive? In a tit for tat, the team that dictates how much time is left on the clock after each score will always win.

DF was desperate to be able to get down that far with 3 secs to go. Great job winning the game with 0 on the clock but I’m not sure the fans weren’t just a little nervous after the place kicker shanked two consecutive PAT’s wide right.

Gaffney had the same problem against Rock Hill. If you’re going to go three and out, don’t do it running down hill, especially early when you’re still in the game. Some of the Gaffney drives took only 40 secs off the clock. Why in such a hurry to give the ball back?
