So, South Pointe was leading 35-0 at half.
After, SP is lined up and literally waiting for RHH players to take the field for a full two minutes, the refs and coaches meet at the RH 30 yard line. Coach B.C. looking for an explanation as to why his team has been waiting so long.
They end up ending the game after that discussion.
My question is, will it be a SP win? Or will it show officially as a cancelled game?

Choose to Lead or you should choose to "get out the way" of those who will lead!
Re: Wet Ball Rule Question
Amazing that in like conditions around the state, even those in the same area, this game was the only one that had an issue. Maybe so, but just seems a very convenient way for a Rock Hill program to embarrass itself even more than just being on the bad end of another blowout
Re: Wet Ball Rule Question
"Wet Bulb", not wet ball. It is a safety factor to prevent heat stroke.
The "Godfather" didn't whine like The "Slobfather" is doing, when he got INDICTED!!!!!
Re: Wet Ball Rule Question
If that atrocious loss to Northwestern wasn’t bad enough , to me this is even worse. This is called quitting. Apparently it wasn’t effecting the SP players. This is an automatic fireable offense IMO

Thanks!

I agree!
"Not sure who's call" but anyone who was there could tell you it looked very much like: "no mas"!
Which is teaching your kids when the going gets tough, ((((to quit))))). "IF" this was anything to do with RHH.

Re: Wet Ball Rule Question
Rock Hill did not look like a team that wanted to be out there today imo, embarrassing look for the program
Re: Wet Ball Rule Question
First of all coaches have no say in this. Absolutely none. The athletic trainer has the final say on this, and it’s not even a decision, you look at the reading from the wet bulb, which factors in heat, humidity, and other possible mitigating factors, if it reads at a certain level, no competition.
Second of all, it was SP who had a dehydrated player taking fluids via IV with the paramedics. So yes the heat and humidity was affecting them.
Thirdly, put your message board indignity aside and try to see both sides of an issue instead of making something unrelated fit the story you want.
