Abbeville vs Saluda

Post by *Topcat* »

Ok, let's go, who ya got? Saluda at Abbeville for the upper state. Both teams appear to be playing their best, I hear Saluda is riding that big back and running much more these days. I need to look at some film, I haven't seen them. Thought all along they beat ST, did not believe ST was that good but only saw then early. Does Saluda still have the same QB that usually throws it all over? How did they lose to Bluff? Saluda finished third in their region though clearly they are the best team there. Should be fun with a big crowd. Hopefully we can slow down their running game and that tailback. Atown will bring a number of running backs at you, including the QB. Looking forward to this one.

The Saluda defense has played great in their
last 2 games against Gray and S.T. but we will
see if they can stop Abbeville for 4 quarters.
the Panthers will be the best team Saluda has
played offense and defense.Mathis for the Tigers
is one of the top players in 2a he plays both
ways they use him at running back and receiver
but Abbeville has stopped good players before.
Saluda has been playing 2 QB's in the last few games.
Turn overs and penalties have hurt Saluda all year.
I hope to see a great game.
GO GET'EM PANTHERS! GO GET'EM TIGERS!

Saluda will challenge Aville for 3 quarters but i don't see them beating them.

Definitely will come down to the crucial turnovers. I Watched the Strom Thurmond game and ST had their fair chances in the Redzone. I think this is one of the better defenses Saluda has had as of late. Hopefully the Panthers find away to slow down Mathis. Should be Another Great 2AA upper-state game. As Always 🗣Go, Fight, Win Panthers

Wow!!! After a lackluster first half, trailing 16-6, Abbeville came out and smoked Saluda in the 2nd half, outscoring them 35-0. 28-0 in the 4th. Good adjustments and a different attitude on defense turned it around., then the ground attack starting racking up the yards. What a difference a half can make. Panthers played a great 2nd half, was a joy to watch.
