Yea.. personally..this years and last years schedule was a little too early strengthwise for me.. I get the Spartanburg Dutch Fork game.. Doc always had that Columbia/Sumter game. I'm glad Knox and Hodge have said they WANT this game.

Ill say it forever.. kids are kids. You cannot let kids lose 3 of first 4 and it have a positive impact expectation wise.

I'm realistically clueless to how many games this team can win.
It's exciting to know I get to watch it and Hodge coach... And I love to watch Hodge.. I think he's sooooo underrated... But Damn..

Spartanburg needs wins. The only city school.. the drop offs after successful seasons has been huge under other circumstances. A fairweather fan base..new school.. new digs.. I just worry it may have been rushed.. its a gut feeling..

I hate tums.

Yeah, having South Pointe and Grayson, along with DF is a tough road, and given the region gauntlet it will be rugged. One of those early on is tough enough and then look at teams like Hanna or Hillcrest or one of the Columbia teams like Spring Valley....tough but maybe not a show stopper. With that being said, they say tough schedules early on get you ready for the second season.

I think Hodge likes to play better teams to really show his team where they need to get better. But when you have Refion 2 waiting, I agree this might be a little much.

As an aside, haven’t seen anything on here about it, maybe it is nothing but a rumor, but was told that the freshman RB from last year, was transferring? That kid is a player.

Yea I get the tough schedule gets a team more battle tested.. I just do not like the idea of saying these games "don't count"..

Bring back a version of the points system
Bring back cross bracketing
