How do I become a guest picker?

How do they have 3 teams ranked ahead of the team they have at #3?

Thanks for the question. We actually had a tie for 2nd place. Typically we give the team that received more first place votes the nod as a tiebreaker, but that was also a tie. So since we had a tie for 2nd, 3 teams ended up being ahead.

Having two teams tied for 2nd is fine but you would normally have the next team ranked 4th, I think. In the end it doesn't really matter :D.

I believe Dillon would beat most of the teams listed.

If there is a tie for second, then nobody is third. Years ago, I heard the Clemson announcer give the ACC standings. NC was first at 2-0, there was a 6 way tie for second, and Clemson was third. It doesn't work that way. At least get that much right.

Abdullah,

Thanks again for the insight. We felt that since there was a tie for 2nd place in the state, they are both the 2nd best. So in our opinion, the 3rd ranked team is just that, the third ranked. Thanks again for your opinion and comments.

Thank you for your explanation. So, if your panel voted 5 teams in a tie for second, the next team to get votes, really the seventh highest total, would be the third best team. Or, if you had enough people voting, and every team in the state except one got the same number of votes, that one remaining team would be deemed as being #2. Got it.

Haha. Is this serious? Geeze man, leave this guy alone. The new thing, now that you can't argue with the poll is to condemn the way the poll is operated. Are you really splitting hairs about a 2nd or 3rd place ranking?
