2016 Gaffney Schedule

I got some info last night that we will be playing:

Hanna - Home
@ West Charlotte
@ Hillcrest
Rock Hill - Home
Northwestern - Home
@ Boiling Springs
Byrnes - Home
Dorman - Homecoming
Spartanburg - Home

While we don't know for sure who will be coaching next season at least we are playing some new people and people we haven't played in awhile. I'm not 100% sure on the Hillcrest and WC game locations and this schedule seems uneven with home games unless we change and play at one of the region teams on the road for a second year in a row then that's just how it is.

Edit: I checked and it looks like the teams that have played ten regular season games for years split them up evenly. So either Hanna has to be away or a region opponent. Either way it is good to know the opponents at least.

Everyone plays ten regular season games beginning next year and there will be 32 teams in the playoffs, making it one week longer!

I know the coaching thing may be a done deal but the Indians played a very good ball game Friday! I thought the play calling was better than what I have seen in years and defense played great! Really think if first round game was not Byrnes, Gaffney is still in the playoffs! Them young men played hard Friday!

With the talent in that program and the kids coming back I can see the Indians as the team to beat next year!

I thought Gaffney played great Friday. Hard to believe their record is what it is. Glad that every class will now be playing ten games and we get a extra round of the playoffs
