FLORENCE, S.C. — Akeem Bostick gets plenty of attention for his pitching, but the West Florence senior proved Wednesday night he is more than capable of swinging the bat.
Bostick hit two of the Knights’ four home runs as West Florence defeated South Florence 6-1 in the second game of a three-game series.

FLORENCE S.C. — With a big series looming against Sumter next week, West Florence didn’t want to let up in the final game of its series against South Florence.
The Knights emphatically accomplished that goal, beating South Florence 15-1 in five innings Friday to finish off a three-game sweep of their rivals. West outscored the Bruins 33-3 in the three game series.
