Just received the 5A Region 6 tiebreaker.SCPrepTalk wrote:I have yet to receive the Region 6 tiebreaker.

That is correct.GoBigGreen wrote:Ashley Ridge can be high lighted in Black as they are a lock at Region 7 #3 seed. Even if they lose this week and Wando wins, AR should get the 3 spot due to their head to head win over Wando this past Friday. I am assuming that head to head would settle the region tie.
If the game is between unequal seeds, like #1 vs #4, then the higher seed hosts the game. The first round it's completely that way. In the rest of the rounds, the higher seed will host the game unless both teams are the same seed, like your DF vs FD game. In that case, where both seeds are equal, the SCHSL has predetermined which slot will host the game. That is what the "H" is for, too designate which team will host the game of their seeds are the same, #1 vs #1 or #2 vs #2, etc.Red Head wrote:If teams with the highest region finish get to host games, what happens if there is a tie? If Fort D and DF win out and meet on 11-24, where is the game to be played? Why do you see H's on the bracket chart?
