I see my 96 WILDCATS are number 6 in 2a.
i love my WILDCATS but i don't think they
would beat TIMBERLAND or SOUTHSIDE CHRISTIAN.
however i would love to see them get the chance.

Nah that Wing T or Triple option they run would get them blown out QUICK versus DF!

That hybrid option is the kind of offense that would beat a team like DF imo..unless your dang disciplend on defense...over aggressiveness and they'll keep that explosive offense of yours on sideline all night...I do agree DF is the team to beat this year and should be ranked 1...but all it takes is one given Friday night.....

Great points Mikey. The Wing T offense can be difficult to prepare for, especially if you have the athletes. Some coaches that come to mind are Jet Turner, Keith Crolley, and of course Jeff Calabrese at Hartsville. They hit you for 3 yards a play and next thing you know they bust one for 30 yards. Having seen the first half of the DF/Irmo game...DF’s defense is dang disciplined. They are a complete team. The only possible weakness I see with DF may be the kickoff team.
