GAFFNEY VS MALLARD CREEK

Well played game by both teams, but not a good game by the team in the black and white stripes. Lot of questionable calls, bad spots and overall lack of consistency. Gaffney got away with moving forward at the snap at least ten times, and Mallard Creek lost two TD's due to bad calls. Gaffney had a TD taken away ( but they did score two plays later ) when the QB was marked out of bounds when he clearly crossed the end zone and had the ball held forward even further.

Overall, Gaffney proved that there is more than one team in SC to the Mavericks. The game was intense from the first kick off. I really enjoyed watching the game and glad we made the drive to Gaffney. Mallard Creek's QB was very impressive and he had at least three or four big gains taken away due to pure drops by his receivers. Two would have been TD's (both were eventually made on later plays) and Slot Receiver on the post pattern was precision at it's finest. Receiver hit in stride several times and Gaffney could not cover it.

Right now, Region 3, AAAAA looks to be another tough road that runs right through The Reservation. Dorman and Byrnes cannot be overlooked, but I'd say the Indians would be listed as the favorites as the Rebels have to go to Gaffney in two weeks. Home field advantage at Dorman is nice, home field advantage at The Reservation is REAL NICE!

I wonder how this years Gaffney would of stacked up with 2013 Dillon team who lost the #8 MC who went 15-0 and won a state title.

Reading on NCPreps the MC fans are giving the Gaffney a lot of love. Great facilities, great fans, hard core football, etc.....

They will go for your jugular, and succeed.
And if that don't work...they will resort to tear gas, shank you in the kidney with a broken chicken leg bone, and/or stab you in the spleen with a rusty Phillips head. You have fared well with the "been at your neck" thing.

Now that ain't true...the tear gas only affected our own fans....our dogs get our chicken bones and grinder sharpened flats heads work much better when twisted on impact...lol:

I have seen Gaffney play like a middle school team all season. Then all of a sudden make a playoff run.crazy stuff.im convinced the better they are durring the season the worse they are in the playoffs.idcrather face a 8 and 2 gaffney then a 5 and 5 Gaffney.

This Gaffney team has the talent to be something special. We are loaded at the skill positions and the defense is nasty and can get after the QB and will get even better as the season goes on. The only thing that hurts us is the play calling and I don't care what any other Gaffney fan says the offensive play calling sucks and has sucked.
