"eliminated early in the playoffs" is what all the UPPER STATE folks want to say, but I don't know....

I don't know about the region champ, but #2 and #3 will have a long bus trip home in the first round.

Stupid question but this is gonna be a brawler between Summerville and Bluffton, right? I dunno man. Summerville will be better this year no question but Bluffton might be hard to stop. I think it comes down to conditioning and depth. What do you think?

Who knows? Colleton County may stumble into the playoffs this year.

If we returned davon Anderson yeah we would blast them.with out him and the line being suspect.they have the edge.but that's a line that is missing key guys that will be back playing.if our line is full tilt boogie.we should be able to beat them.

Mad love for Summerville and it's fans but I think I'm goin with Bluffton on this one. They gave Northwestern fits last year for the first half. If Bluffton has enough depth and can keep the energy going for all 4 quarters against the bigger schools then I think they might be the one. I don't know enough about the point system but what's the likely hood that it will come down to the last game of the year between Bluffton and Summerville? Are the schedules a trade off? Likelier chance of losing a game in exchange for better point potential for Summerville?

Keep in mind, Region Champs are seeded first (Even as Region Champion, Bluffron would be the lowest seed if they all had the same records because of the non region schedule)..

SO the only likely road playoff games for the Bluffton region champion team would be the semi-finals. They would only travel to another Region Champion with a higher point total.

Looking at it now: (not a prediction, but only as an example)

Region One: Greenwood would host Bluffton
Region Two: Will be Division One
Region Three: Northwestern would host Bluffton
Region Four: Toss up, but I'm guessing Division One
Region Five: North Augusta would likely host Bluffton
Region Six: I think this might be the best chance for Bluffton to host, maybe 50-50 but I don't see them getting to the semi-finals
Region Seven: Goose Creek would host Bluffton

Region 6: Sumter & Carolina Forest go to Division 1. SF, WF or Conway should all have more points than Bluffton if they make the playoffs.
