If the Byrnes offense continues to play like they did against Gaffney each week, then they have a shot at it all. Im probably gonna go watch Byrnes/Dorman game as it probably will be a good indicator of Dormans defense.

Back on topic...Gaffney is still not out of the mix just yet! ;)

my point was that they would be better. yes they played good against MC, but have been too inconsistant overall for a few years. And also, Byrnes and Dorman are good, that too

#5 who did a little bit of everything like #22 last year suffered a season ending knee injury near the end of the first half against mc and the team hasn’t been the same since. to add to our bad luck #3 who is our shutdown db and also plays wr has been out for five weeks with a collarbone injury. both players are senior leaders.

May take someone willing to hurts some feelings over there, like a forced change, if of course they found the right guy with the right plan

Didn't Gaffney give Nationally Ranked Mallard Creek a run only losing by 7? The same MC that tied with the powerful DF team from Irmo. Could Byrnes just be that good? OR was it not about the loss so much; but "other things"?

coach jones basically said on the radio that he is staying because we have a strong junior class. he has been saying that for the last six years now at least he is persistent!

And Sumter?
Clover?
Fort Dork?

Any team that has not been beaten has no idea just how good they are, or how they will stack up against other teams. Pump the brakes until some of these teams suffer a loss. You could be right, or Region 2 could be really bad and and Dorman is undefeated because they played a soft schedule. The playoffs are the great equalizer, the games are played on the field by teenagers, not on the internet by grown men. I am not disagreeing with you, just posing a question and offering another possibility.

I've seen Byrnes, Dorman, and Clover. all three are great teams, but there was a difference between Byrnes/Dorman and Clover. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs. #GoCougars

Clover is undefeated, so obviously is a good team. One usually assumes that an undefeated team is in the elite category and a threat to win it all. Not sure we know about Clover at this point. Played in probably the weakest 5A region in the state and had about the easiest schedule overall that a team could come up with. By virtue of having a #1 seed, that should protect them in the first couple of rounds. But round 3 will be when we know how good Clover really is.
