Job Openings
Re: Job Openings
2006 was the last time Conway was in Columbia. It will never happen again unless things drastically change. Like I’ve said, the program is dead and nothing for the community to get excited about. Talent isn’t an issue. Never has been. The Chuck Jordan era is over and it’s time to move on. Time to close the book and open a new era.

I've noticed the North Augusta job hasn't been posted yet. Anyone know why?

They either have someone in mind already or they are waiting until after Winter Break.IFollowHSFootball wrote:I've noticed the North Augusta job hasn't been posted yet. Anyone know why?

Re: Job Openings
Sir you brought Coach J into this not I. And your opinion has no legs to stand on when you say our people are not attending games because the team is losing when I just proved to you that 3 years ago a top 3 state team had little to no butts in the stands. And to compare any team to that 06’ is pure comedy they were loaded from top to bottom. There is a huge drop off in talent from the last 3 years on that field. They had only 1 WR with any playing experience on the field this year, but you would know that if you attended the games like I have since 03’

I’ve been going since the early 70’s. I know what I’m talking about. The stands have been getting less for a few years but I can show you pictures of about 200 people in the stands for a home playoff game. That’s embarrassing and it’s never been like that. Talent has to be developed. It’s not getting developed. Kids are quitting the team. Only 40 players for a playoff roster? Something is wrong my friend and you just can’t see it. The 2006 team has nothing to do with now. I never said that. Coaching makes a difference and it’s proven at many places that are not winning. I feel sorry for the kids. They want to win but have no chance.

Green Sea Floyds hadn’t had a winning season in 10 years. New coach with championship aspirations and two state championships in 3 years but it doesn’t have anything to do with coaching? CF finally has a good staff. He’s built a good program but it doesn’t have anything to do with coaching ? I could give you many more examples. You’ll figure it out next year when they don’t have enough money to turn the scoreboard on.

Noticed a good amount of the 'open' jobs aren't posted yet.

The only ones posted so far - based on the the districts website - are Blacksburg, South Florence, and Lancaster.coachp wrote:Which ones has?
Has anyone heard if those schools have picked someone or started interviewing?
Re: Job Openings
They know who they want the question is more the availability and willingness on the individual to come I have heard. People have submitted applications through the Aiken County School District website already even though the job has not post. I do know of one personally, and told of two others. No Fly Zone wrote:They either have someone in mind already or they are waiting until after Winter Break.IFollowHSFootball wrote:I've noticed the North Augusta job hasn't been posted yet.
