Dorman Chris, don’t pay an attention to Gaffney Chris. He’s been hanging around Byrnes Chris on these boards for too. He’s starting to sound like a Rebel parrot with the ref crap.
Besides I’m quite certain he was trying to bait someone.
“Win as if you were used to it, lose as if you enjoyed it for a change.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Bottom line.....Gaffney was put into a tail spin at that historic Championship game where Byrnes literally TOOK away there hopes. They just have never really recovered from it.
Byrnes went through a destructive period under a coach I will not name prior to their current coach. While the current coach has made improvements.... I don't really see the KILLER instinct of play calling from "the Glory" years.
Dorman is the only team of the THREE that has the original coach. After this year they will be back(most likely) to middle of the road status as they are every time after a stellar season.
In closing...I feel Byrnes will improve(though not as fast as we would like) and be back on top in a year or two. Dorman will continue to make a "run" every 3 to 4 years(unless Gutshaw retires) and Gaffney will remain content as long as who ever is coaching beats Byrnes at least within once every couple of years.
If you cant walk it..You prolly shouldnt talk it!!
