Yeah if you get the extended video of the event you'll see he actually landed on the field in his stolen Blackhawk. Had a rocket launcher but he was out of shells and the cheats were disabled so that's why he had to grab the helmet.

It's a sad thing to see.

On the subject of GTA, my son plays that game. That and Battlfield. I know sibilance was joking, but when we go fishing he still cries when you stick the hook through the worm so at least in the case of my son video games don't make him a violent person.
