Do we know if anyone from Abbeville is coming over with Tad? That's two different ends of the high school football spectrum. A dynasty like Abbeville to a dumpster fire like Emerald.
I have not heard of any of the main assistants jumping ship. Several them of have kids in the Abbeville school system that play football so I do not see them leaving, at least not at this time. Many of the Abbeville coaches are closer to retirement (including the head coach) IMO than hopping to another job.
So he'll likely have a bunch of holdovers. That really sucks for him.

I was shocked when he took that job.

After a couple weeks to think about it, I can see why he made the jump. Being an AD is a lot of work no matter where you are, but it can more difficult in a small place like Abbeville. In our case the school district pretty much provides nothing in terms of athletic funding - each team is more or less self-sustained and there is some funding provided from the Booster Club, and that's it. He also didn't have a secretary which a lot of bigger schools have. But the biggest thing is definitely the pay raise. He is making a lot more at Emerald which in turn will give him a better retirement (retirement is based on your three highest paid years).

The pay is significant, but he won't have to be the AD at Emerald. He'll just have to put up with the AD and all of his cronies.

Hope it's worth it.

I know Dubose is going to enjoy that offensive line y'all have coming back. If you have a few good running backs, that will equal some wins. It's inevitable one day Emerald will beat Greenwood in football. I hope it's not anytime soon ;)

They are severely hurting at the skill positions, mainly because Mac built an entire staff of offensive line coaches and did not develop the skill positions (RB/WR/DB).

Dubose's biggest obstacle in the offseason will be finding a strong OC that can develop a QB. They have never, ever had that under McMahon.

Aside from Amsey Miller who is considering going over to Greenwood High, I'm hearing most, if not all, of Tim McMahon's staff will return in 2020.

Brian Neal is really the only assistant Dubose should hang on to, but I understand that's not really how it works in high school football. Barry Kinard from Crescent...awful. Mac's son, even worse and thinks he runs the place because of his dad.

I expect them to be very strong defensively with Dubose and Neal working together. Offense is a different story. He absolutely has to go out and bring in an OC from the outside.

Heard young, up-and-comer that used to be at Emerald turned them down to go work for Liner at Greenwood...but that is far from a done deal.
