Interesting but potentially a good hire especially after reading why he left Havelock High in North Carolina. Going to be interesting how he deals with the 6 qtr rule. 3 State Championships at Havelock High during the 2011-2013 seasons and played for a 4th in 2014 but lost. Didn’t have more than 2 losses during any season after that but retired after 2017 and moved to Georgia.

He had a lot good athletes come out of Havelock High.
One that you might have heard of.... Pharoh Cooper who played at USC.

Why would the Great Falls HC leave and go become an assistant at Greenwood is it that much of a difference in pay from being the HC there to moving to Greenwood surely the money can't be that good as an assistant

Well. Tom is from Greenwood. That may have something to do with it. Not sure what the coordinators are getting paid. Probably not too bad though.

Yeah I imagine being close to family is big especially with his daughter's medical condition. I am not gossiping they did a very public fundraiser for research for San Filippo sydrome when they played rival Lewisville. Its just a terrible terrible disease.

Not sure if he's been named DC, but that boosted supplement will help offset any loss he'd take giving up HC pay at Great Falls.

Heard through the grapevine that he put in for the Emerald job but was not a finalist. Sounds to me like he was just trying to get back home.

I may be wrong on this and correct me if I am, but isn't Great Falls usually open from year to year? Or am I thinking of another school?
