record setting number of cases in S.C. the last 3 days with over 3,200 new cases in these 3 days alone.........if this continues schools will not re-open and we will be forced to shut down the state again......…Rebel-Fan-74 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2020 9:58 pmI'm beginning to lean toward this belief as well. Your comments below present a case that would have to be "beyond a reasonable doubt" in most folk's minds.
And we all know how "truthful" the media is today, NOT!
As they should.... we lost a student a few years ago because we didn't err on the side of caution.
While I agree, I would hate it, but it is not looking good for sports in 2020 in general, football especially.
My grandsons each played baseball in that past few days, the older in a weekend tournament and the younger in a regular Tuesday night game in D5 at Tyger River Park. Some were practicing social distancing, but for the most part it was business as usual for the most part. No "good game" walk at the end was the only thing missing. A parent near me was talking with another Mom and I heard her say "I'm glad we are back to playing ball, but I'm still a little concerned!" I thought to myself, too late to be concerned now, he's out there with all those players and coaches; if someone is exposed, it is going to spread quickly.
Cases were expected to rise when things opened up. The state will not shut down again.spectator wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 8:44 amrecord setting number of cases in S.C. the last 3 days with over 3,200 new cases in these 3 days alone.........if this continues schools will not re-open and we will be forced to shut down the state again...........Rebel-Fan-74 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2020 9:58 pmI'm beginning to lean toward this belief as well.
