WEST FLORENCE AT BEAUFORT POLL 11/13/2020

West Florence is coming in to this game with a record of 5-2. The Knights are avg. 28 points a game and giving up 22 points a game. West Florence is coming off a 24-20 win over arch-rival South Florence. The Knights have a record of 2-2 in Away Games so far this season.

Beaufort is coming in to this game with a record of 4-1. The Eagles are avg. 41 points a game and giving up 13 points a game. Beaufort had their game at Benedictine canceled last week because Benedictine had some players Quarantined because of Covid Issues. The Eagles have a record of 3-0 at Home so far this season.

This is a BIG GAME as it is the 1st round of the 4A Playoffs. Win and keep moving on. Lose and your season is over. Beaufort defeated West Florence 33-7 way back in the opening round of the 2004 playoffs in their only meeting ever.

I am really looking forward to this game!!!! It should be a great game to watch. Beaufort usually plays great at home. Doodles has Beaufort as a 4 point favorite, Massey has Beaufort as a 7 point favorite and Calpreps has Beaufort as a 10 point favorite. What do y'all think? Will Beaufort win? Will West Florence win? Let's hear your thoughts and predictions on this Big Playoff Game. I will give mine later on in the week.

Well this BIG 4A Playoff Game is Tomorrow Night. I can't wait!!!! I am so excited about it. This Game is Sold Out. The Eagles Nest will be rocking!!!! The Rain is suppose to be out of here too.

I just got done watching West Florence's Games against Hartsville and South Florence. I have to say that I think Beaufort should win this game pretty easily if they don't have any turnovers. West Florence loves to run the football with QB George Derrick Floyd and RB Terry McKithen. If Beaufort's Defense and especially the Eagles DL can put some pressure on Floyd and stop the Knights from running the football then I think Beaufort will win this game. Floyd can pass the football too but that isn't what the Knight's love to do. But if they do pass the ball Beaufort has some pretty good DB'S and the Great part is that one of Beaufort's good DB'S will return to this game after being injured in the very 1st game of the season. Welcome back Daryl Depass!!!!

In order for Beaufort to win this game The Eagles "D" will have to play better then they did stopping the run against Carolina Forest 2 weeks ago. Beaufort's DL led by Eamon Smalls will have to control the line of scrimmage and stop West Florence from running the football. Someone needs to key on Knight's QB Floyd and then have someone key on McKithen.

Beaufort QB Tyler Haley will need a Big Game throwing and running the football. If he doesn't throw any Interceptions in this game then I think My Eagles will win easily. Beaufort's OL will need to block better this week and help open up holes for Haley, Jaylin Houseal, and Amariee Morris to run thru. I think The Eagles Running game needs to have a big night Tomorrow. But The Eagles do need to mix it up running and throwing the ball. Hopefully Haley can get the ball to Beaufort WR Marcus Goodwater. Goodwater has been on fire as of late and if you throw him the football anywhere close to him he will catch it.

Like I have said. If Beaufort doesn't turn the ball over and have stupid penalties then I think The Eagles will win this game fairly easily. I am glad that West Florence has the long bus ride to Beautiful Beaufort this week and hopefully that will hurt them.
