Myrtle Beach is coming in to this game with a record of 6-2. The Seahawks are avg. 41 points a game and giving up 20 points a game. Myrtle Beach is coming off a 44-17 Win over South Aiken to open up the 4A Playoffs. The Seahawks have a record of 3-2 in Away games so far this season.

Beaufort is coming in to this game with a record of 5-1. The Eagles are avg. 42 points a game and giving up 14 points a game. Beaufort is coming off a 45-14 Win over West Florence to open up the 4A Playoffs. The Eagles have a record of 4-0 at Home so far this season.

These 2 teams have only faced each other 2 times ever with Myrtle Beach winning both contests. They haven't faced each other since 2017. Doodles has Myrtle Beach favored by 3 points over Beaufort. Most people that I have talked with thinks this will be a very close game and High Scoring.

I am already so excited about this game. It should be a great game to watch. It should sell out quickly. Kickoff for this game will be at 7:00 PM on Friday.

What is everyone's thoughts and opinions on this BIG WEEK 2 PLAYOFF GAME???? I will give My Thoughts and Prediction later on in the week. .

Thanks for your input on the game SF Band Dad. I really appreciate it. Beaufort usually plays good at home. So it should be a great game. I know that you said the same thing about West Florence and their Coach and Beaufort won that game easily. So I am hoping and praying that you will be wrong about this game also. . LOL. You should come down to Beautiful Beaufort to watch the game. Take care.

Myrtle Beach gave up a lot of points against both Wilson and North Myrtle Beach. Carolina Forest scored a bunch against us. Myrtle Beach isn't on par with Carolina Forest. It is going to take 50 to win in this one. Beaufort is hitting on all 8. Ball control may well be the determining factor in this one. Which team can wear out the other's defense. This is going to be video game football. We don't have a 5 hour bus ride before we play, or after we play. Could be the difference. I see this one as a true 4 quarter game. Either team isn't out of it until the clock shows all zeroes.

Not many folks think Beaufort can win this one. They haven't seen this team play. No disrespect to the Seahawks, but I do believe that Beaufort is the better team in this game. A banged up QB may also be a factor. Perhaps the Seahawks have the more decorated players, but this Beaufort team really plays well together, on both sides of the ball. I am very happy to have my tickets. 300 tickets sold out in less than a day. The stadium should be rocking. With North Myrtle Beach on the horizon for the winner, this game takes on some extra meaning. One of these teams will be playing for a trip to the State Championship game. Going to give this one some more thought at this point. Score prediction in a few days.

Nice of everyone to not give my team, North Augusta, any chance at all against NMB. If NMB has a better quarterback than they had last year we might not have a chance but I doubt they do. Ahmad Green from May River was very good but they either wore down in the fourth quarter or we decided to start playing. Also, a fumble after a long pass and another fumble on MR 4 yard line just before half made a big difference in the score. It was a great game and Green is fantastic but we stopped him when we had to. Please keep counting us out against NMB. Nice locker room material. Win or lose I'm proud of my Jackets and all other teams considering circumstances this year. Win or lose I hope it's a good game with no injuries. Go Jackets!

Well I’ll start with MB. They have the experience of playing in a state championship for starters and their QB is back healthy after getting hurt in the NMB game. They have a very good defense despite the Wilson and NMB scores and Mickey Wilson is probably the second best active coach in this state next to Tom Knotts. MB has D1 receivers all over the field and has a RB that has over 600 yards rushing this year they are a quick strike offense and will score in a hurry. Beaufort can’t have any turnovers whatsoever or that’s murder she wrote because the Seahawks will cash in on those. This game will probably competitive until the 4th quarter but I think the talent and coaching from the Beach wins out.

As for NMB and NA this will be the best team NA has played this year and a huge test. NMB is waaay better than MR and is stout not only offensively but defensively as well. Huge in the trenches and they have multiple RB that are terrors to stop. They to me are the best team in the Grand Strand area this year and my pick to make it to the State Championship this year. Their execution is very good and they also like MB can score at will especially on turnovers. NA will have their work cut out for them for sure. If NA can’t put at least 30 on the board and score early it won’t be pretty, just my two cents....

This post has a lot of interesting views, to say the least. Beaufort has had a great season and since the game is being played there that sorta gives them a bit of an edge. Myrtle Beach is not the Doty team of last year and the way North Myrtle Beach "Manhandled" them I think Beaufort will most likely come out on top in this one by as much as 10 points so don't let me down Penquin!!

On a side note, the North Myrtle Beach game vs North Augusta game should be a good one. North Augusta has improved greatly from last year and to the poster that inquired about the NMB QB he is better than last year! I watched the game between NMB vs MB. and they have great speed and are better than last year's team in my opinion. It still should be a great game with NA having a new coach and new offense and defensive schemes. I wouldn't put any of the 4 teams into the next bracket other than Beaufort going forward.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts so far on this game and picking in the poll. I really appreciate it. Is it Friday Yet???? I am so so anxious for this BIG PLAYOFF GAME!!!! It really should be a great game to watch. I have had a ton of people not even from Beaufort who are going to this game and talking about how they have heard that Beaufort has a very good team this year and want to see them play.

Does anyone else have any thoughts or predictions on this game? Remember the kickoff to this game will be at 7:00 instead of 7:30. I also forgot to mention that in the only common Opponent for each team, Beaufort beat West Florence 45-14 and Myrtle Beach beat West Florence 51-14. I know that probably doesn't mean anything but it sounds like these 2 teams are fairly evenly matched.

I have heard that Myrtle Beach is pretty banged up with injuries right now. I heard that their starting QB was held out for a few practices this week but he should be able to play on Friday. Also The Seahawks starting LB and a few other players are nursing injuries. That isn't good when you are in the playoffs. But I know that Myrtle Beach always has a pretty good team and still should put up a fight.
