A memo from the SCHSL to member schools said the Dec. 4 contests will include a 5 p.m. matchup at Spring Valley and a 7:30 p.m. game at Benedict, while the Dec. 5 games will be at Benedict at 11:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., while Spring Valley will host a contest at 3:30 p.m.
That works out to:
Friday, 5 PM - Spring Valley HS
Friday, 7:30 PM - Benedict College
Saturday, 11:30 AM - Benedict College
Saturday, 3:30 PM - Spring Valley HS
Saturday, 7:30 PM - Benedict College

As much as Dutch Fork loves to beat the cleats off of them...I have to admit River Bluff has a nice stadium. Great atmosphere there as well.

Published capacity of each stadium:
Charlie W. Johnson Stadium at Benedict College: 11,000. 25% = 2,750
Harry Parone stadium at Spring Valley HS: 12,000. 25% = 3,000

Dorman's capacity looks to be the largest for any HS in the state at 15,200.
WOW.

That actually surprises me.

Dorman is 20 years old and might still have the largest capacity? I'm thinking though....of all the newest stadiums built Dorman might be the most successful team. Dutch fork had new digs before they started earning titles and Byrnes never struck while the iron was hot. School like RB were brand new and Spartanburg's days were behind them when they built the new stadium.

Any other theories why newer stadiums don't have larger capacities? Obviously there's a limit to the number of fans that will ever pack a stadium. How many new or renovated stadiums since 2000?

Would be awesome to have a WOC at Dorman but geographically it would make zero sense. Clemson was bad enough for the low country fans.

They've determined which class will play at each site, they are not exactly clear on which games will be played on each day and time slot.
