I don’t know about that. If they already beat Spartanburg and that’s possibly the best team in that region what makes you think that they can’t handle the rest . I would make the argument that Tom Knotts would relish that opportunity to say he did do it. At least that the vibe all the DF fans give off. And whose to say those teams survive and advance.

I think it’s more the other way . Y’all didn’t want to see the silver foxes in the upper state. And again they still have to win their region for that to happen. Tk could pull a back door move and rest some starters and get thrown down into the lower state.
That region is more of an Upstate Region given their location. Play them now, play them later...have to wait and see.

The region is a little gun shy when they play DF. TK seems to bring out the worst in Chapin, White Knoll, River Bluff and Lexington. They all seem to be playing decent thus far. DF only has 3 home games so probably heading to River Bluff or Lexington to see a region road game or two. DF is 16-0 in region play against those 4 teams the past 4 seasons...Outscoring them 864-136. Understandably, the Silver Foxes get in their heads.

DF my point was
Tk throws a game to get thrown into lower state as the 2 seed. Of course I’m joking and he would never do that . But since the region 2 guys are so upset that DF will be in the upstate even though that school to me has always been more upstate than lower. Steel sharpens steel that’s what I’m always hearing from all these teams.

Hey Dub. Wearing the Big D!

Thanks again!

I'd just settle for our starting QB back at this point...haha. Hunt will be good in time, but not now and we need Danley full time in the secondary. Even had one of the OLBs Paul Taylor (Will Taylor's brother) playing some QB....Hunt, Danley, Green, Taylor...figuring it out. Appler went down fairly early in the Vikings game and its been high adventure ever since. Found a 10th grade RB....going to be another Green. Got to play a lot of youngsters against Stratford, so that is good.. I think N. Augusta is next, not sure how they are doing. That was a good rivalry back in the day, DF and NA.

Greenwood got them last night. That’s not good for NA

Can’t compare scores though right. I kid I kid

I’m afraid both our teams are on parallel the rest of the season
Just tweaking what we have going through the motions until the playoffs. Our schedule is a dog the rest of the way .
Turns out Hart county is pretty good and deep.
Dressed 80 plus players and had athletes everywhere.
The coaching there may be a problem. Very pedestrian.
Greer everyone made fun of and I said they were a good team . Well Byrnes struggled with them last night . So no one left approaches either of them and Seneca lost to a 1a school , albeit the #1 1a team but still. So the hope that they would be undefeated when we faced off is gone.

Ugh....West-Oak ....Ware Shoals...bad enough losing to them but by 30. You guys will either have to get a new scoreboard or buy W-O a new one after that game. The Flamers have another beating coming Friday-maybe not as bad as the whuppin' W-O has coming but bad enough- ha. They might win a couple more games but that is about it. Berea and Liberty...maybe.

Dutch Fork just needs to get everyone healthy and stay that way. Playoffs in the 864 works for me.

We may just play jv week of west oak game
I wouldn’t be against it. Or at least 2nd string.
Y’all definitely are hurting right now
Region play should allow y’all to get some guys some rest.
I would just shut down Green until I really needed him
Give him a few series each week and that’s it.

Future is bright though....JVs are 3-0 shut out Spartanburg, Ashley Ridge and Dorman 123-0....don't think Green played much against Stratford. Maurice Anderson and Trent Lodge next season will be a great set of RBs. Hunt will be a good QB just needs a little more time in the system. Appler is good. Played well against Hough and the little bit against Spartanburg. He should be back soon and the others dinged up...will be primed for region and playoffs. Creekside beating East St. Louis made me feel better. East St. Louis gave SFA all the wanted earlier in the season. Hope we can bring our A game for that one.

As I thought, Green sat out the Stratford game. Give him a much earned rest. And according to the Lexington paper, one of the DF WRs QB some too...lol. Five different QBs for Appler...lord.
