Word around the Pee Dee this past week is that the Darlington Falcons will have a new HC next year. I'm not sure if itll be a firing or resignation, but the word is that Raymond Jennings is out. Not a shocker, he only won 1 game in 4 years.
Heck, as good as they are in basketball, I'm sure there were some decent athletes walking the halls who didn't want to play football simply because they had a losing coach. I'm not saying he is solely responsible - blame falls on the players, the AD, and the assistant coaches too - but he was the man in charge.
Official press release/announcement will likely be coming soon.

I was hoping they would improve this year since they won their appeal and moved down to 3A.ClemsonTigersFan wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 8:07 pmWord around the Pee Dee this past week is that the Darlington Falcons will have a new HC next year. When you look at it, technically, they did improve. After playing with a bunch of Freshman & Sophomores in 2021 (basically playing with a JV team), they would get beat 70-0 weekly. This year, playing with a very Sophomore-heavy group, they stuck with Lugoff-Elgin 34-12, they were a close catch/no-catch call away from beating Cheraw on the road, they stuck with Marlboro County 35-13, and they were only shutout twice this year by Hartsville & Camden. I heard they also have an established JV program now.SF Band dad wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 12:28 amI was hoping they would improve this year since they won their appeal and moved down to 3A.ClemsonTigersFan wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 8:07 pmWord around the Pee Dee this past week is that the Darlington Falcons will have a new HC next year. It may not be an extreme turnaround, but its a step in the right direction.

It isn't going to rock the world, but kind of surprised there hasn't been a word out of Rock Hill, or Fort Mill, about changes. Especially Rock Hill. Actually thought that if the administration didn't make the change that the coaches might leave on their own as I don't see either situation improving.
